WebRecently, the Nevada Museum of Art’s Center for Art + Environment acquired the HDTS archives, which now is made available to the public for the first time in the exhibition Disturbances in the Field: Art in the High Desert from Andrea Zittel’s A-Z West to High Desert Test Sites, on view at the Museum from July 3, 2024 through February 6, 2024. WebHDTS was co-founded by Andrea Zittel in 2002 and she continues to act as Executive Director. We work with locations and organizations throughout the Morongo Basin, and our day-to-day administrative activities are based at A-Z West, Zittel’s studio and testing grounds for experimental designs in living in Joshua Tree.
