I have my own Verizon G1100 and would like to know if it can be possible to start my service with the older ONT until the install date of the new ONT. I understand the speeds will be lower, but at least I won't lose my job. Has anyone had success with this? So far, only the local Verizon FIOS tech (who has been super) has been concerned about having someone in Verizon communicate with me regarding the "known" Tellabs problem they are associating my problem with.
