Pseudo-thermal light
WebGI setup using a pseudo-thermal source. Our experiment is based on a classic double-arm lensless GI setup, as shown in Fig. 1, where the semiconductor laser light of wavelength = 532 nm, with its beam being expanded to 1.92 mm diameter, passes through a di user (i.e., a ground-glass disk rotating at 0.3 rad/s controlled by a stepper motor) to WebThe proposed image reconstruction system requires no OPA-chip mechanical movement. Image enhancement and stitching are achieved by exploiting the OPA-emitted periodic pseudo-thermal light field. The proposed method has various potential applications, such as LiDAR, medical imaging, and optical communication.

WebFeb 1, 2024 · A pseudo-thermal light source was synthesized and partially spatially coherent light was used for illuminating the sample uniformly. The scattered light from the object was collected by the microscope objective lens and a 4mm thick optically flat parallel plate was used to generate the interference pattern. Phase maps of human red blood cells ... WebThe pseudo-thermal source in the experiment was prepared by illuminat-ing a frequency-doubled pulsed Nd:YAG laser with a wavelength of λ=0.532µm into a slowly rotating ground glass. A nonpolarizing beam splitter (BS) splits the incident thermal light beam into two sub-beam, travelling along the test and reference arm, re-spectively.
WebMay 12, 2005 · Abstract High-resolution ghost image and ghost diffraction experiments are performed by using a single classical source of pseudothermal speckle light divided by a beam splitter. Passing from the image to the diffraction result solely relies on changing the optical setup in the reference arm, while leaving the object arm untouched. WebMay 19, 2024 · In Step I, the HBT intensity interferometer is tested with pseudo-thermal light. Laser 1 is on and laser 2 is off. The beam is focused by a lens (L) onto a rotating round ground glass plate (RGGP ...
